Richard Walsh is the Managing Director of the Trident Safety Group and he leads the strategic interests of the business. He has been responsible for driving exceptional growth and innovation within the company.
Richard started working with Trident in 1991 and was quickly appointed to the management team of the company. Back in 2005, Richard went on to develop his own business and was ultimately encouraged to re-join Trident in 2011.
Mr.Walsh is a chemistry graduate, Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser and he has deep knowledge expertise in transport regulations covering the Americas, EMEA, APAC and many country specific legislative environments. Richard has advanced Trident to one of the most valued consultancy and training businesses operating within our core markets. He has secured numerous global accounts with many innovative, astute multinational corporations and developed strong relationships with some of the most respected business leaders and teams across the globe.
He fosters team development measured with individual excellence. Mr.Walsh brings vision, innovation and client focused commitment to the management team of Trident.
Lindsey was appointed as Dangerous Goods Services Director of Trident Safety Group in 2003. Prior to being appointed to this role, Lindsey managed the successful role out of the dangerous goods training line.
Lindsey Buchet is a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor and is an acting DGSA for international companies based in Ireland who transport dangerous goods by all modes internationally.
Lindsey is a Dangerous Goods by Air Instructor and has trained many people to successful certification in the transportation of dangerous goods by air. She is also a DG by sea Instructor and trains multimodal awareness for companies based in Ireland that are transporting using the main three modes.
She has been consulting to companies nationally and internationally in dangerous goods compliance for the last 16 years and continues to add global regulatory disciplines to her extensive dangerous goods expertise.
Eamonn joined Trident in 1994 as an trainee sign maker. Over the years since, Eamonn cemented his position with the company and is now Production Team Lead for the business. Eamonn developed and enhanced our manufacturing processes and capabilities and was the driving force in our award of a City and Guilds approval for sign & label manufacture, an accolade of which we are very proud. Eamonn also leads our domestic Re-Pack services provision for Dangerous Goods / HazMat transportation and he regularly deals with our key accounts in Ireland to ensure the safety and viability of our clients high value shipments. Eamonn is qualified to advise on dangerous goods shipments across all transport modes and has years of experience in this complex field of expertise.
Justine joined the Trident team here in Cork in 2014. She is in charge of the External Communication and Marketing Strategies for the company. She has also been heavily involved with developing content for some of our own clients’ intranet learning initiatives. Recently she has also brought her expertise to the development and deployment of our widely acclaimed training courses.
As Marketing Manager, Justine creates the digital and traditional print presence for Trident Safety Group. As Training Manager her dual-role is to organise our training events across the globe and to explore and develop new markets for our products and services in overseas markets.
A French native, Justine holds a Masters Degree in Marketing and Communications Management. Justine’s professional experience as a Marketing Strategist within Marketing Agencies, Public & Cultural Organisations has brought her unique experience and competencies across different markets and client groups.
Sarah is one of the newest team members of the rapidly growing Trident Safety Group team. She has a Diploma in Chemistry, a BSc in Addiction Counseling and holds certificates within Sales, Marketing, PR and advertising. Sara joined Trident after working as a Recruiter with particular focus on Science and Engineering for all the leading Pharmaceutical, Bio-Pharmaceutical and Medical device companies based in Ireland and the UK.
Within Trident, Sarah started as the Office Manager. After just a few short months working with our team, her strong skill set and natural leadership ability was recognised and she is now working with one of our biggest clients as a DG Specialist, dealing with the transport of Dangerous Goods globally for time critical shipments. Sarah is currently working towards becoming one of the leading DGSA’s within the Trident Safety Group.
Jennifer is our Purchasing & Office Manager and also our newest member to the Trident Team. She is one of the most customer centric people and is completely focused on delivering exceptional customer service in a friendly and efficient manner at all times with experience gained from numerous years in the Motor Industry where she was Assistant Service Manager and a Fleet Business Specialist and also, experience gained in the Aviation industry.
Jennifer is highly competent, willing to take on new tasks and always determined to deliver the best results. Jennifer is highly organised, plans methodically and delivers with precision every task she undertakes. As Office Manager, Jennifer brings ambition and determination as well as her well-developed interpersonal skills to our team.
Within Trident, Jennifer is not only an employee but a Brand Ambassador for Trident. She is a quick learner and won’t be phased by any task. Jennifer has a great commitment for her job to ensuring that there would be no delay for our customers and prides herself in maintaining exceptional professional relationships with clients, suppliers and team members.
Ian Healy is the Dangerous Goods Program Manager with Trident Safety Group, working with one of our major clients as an onsite Specialist in Dublin. Ian is working with a diverse team across EMEA, Asia Pacific and the America’s on various deep knowledge projects while also providing local regulatory and legislative advisories that our clients need to implement to remain compliant and enchance Health & Safety and Dangerous Goods Handling and Shipping practices.
Ian started working with Trident in 2015 as a Business Development Manager with one of our global international clients building and developing relationships with numerous site locations and teams. Mr. Healy is a graduate with a Masters in Information Systems for Business Performance and also holds a BSc (Hons) in Transport Management and Technology. He has experience working with well established companies and has a broad background in the Supply-Chain and Logistics.
James O’Gorman is a Dangerous Goods Specialist with Trident Safety Group. James has extensive experience with high level customer care and service centric work environments. James is a strong team player. He has an exacting eye for detail which he leverages to ensure shipments always remain compliant within the increa- singly complex world of Hazmat legislation. Mr. O’Gorman joined a growing on-site team in Trident team in 2015 after having graduated with a Degree in Biochemistry, and is currently engaged as an implant for one of the company’s many prestigious clients.
Billy is new to the team but a dyed in the wool team player nonetheless. With his appreciation of interpersonal relationship building and solid, diverse experience with customer care at every level; Billy brings exceptional customer care ability and will be focused on building and maintaining mature relationships with clients, team members and suppliers alike. Billy joined Trident as part of the dangerous goods implant team, and he is currently gaining experience and training here at Trident Safety Groups’ HQ with a view to overseas deployment as a DGSA inplant role for one of the company’s largest corporate clients.
