This track provides focused instruction on the air transport of medical waste and used medical devices, including UN3549 (Medical Waste, Category A), UN3291 (Biomedical or Clinical Waste, n.o.s.), and used medical devices or equipment.
Learners examine classification criteria, approved packaging requirements, and proper marking and labeling for each waste type. The module also addresses applicable air transport restrictions and operational considerations specific to waste and used equipment shipments under dangerous goods trasport regulations.
A final assessment confirms competency. Upon successful completion, certification is issued immediately.
